What is NATCROMO? Well, it is National Crochet Month. The whole month of March is NATCROMO. I plan on celebrating by crocheting every day.
I have several projects on my hooks....
1. baby blanket
2. towel toppers
3. giant granny square afghan
If I finish these then I plan on starting scarves, squares, and some shawls. With these items I plan on donating. Just need to find a Charity to donate them to.
I am sure my mother or grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was younger. But, I don't remember. So shortly after my first child was born I started reteaching myself to crochet. Even tho its been many years now that I have been crocheting, I still consider myself a beginner.
I would also love to share my love of crochet with my 5 yr old. She keeps asking me to teach her and I am not sure how to go about that. I have never taught anyone to crochet. Would love some help or tips.
Back to the hook and yarn.....

Lost time.....
Happy New Year!! I know I am a little late.
My it has been a while since I was here last.... Lets see if I can catch up in a short post....
60 scarves in 60 days challenge - I said I wanted to try for 3 to 4. Well, I actually made a total of 8 scarves. Sent all 8 of them to the Special Olympics.
Finished the one blanket I was working on. Gave it to MIL for her birthday and she loved it. Plus I worked on numerous other items like baby blankets, shawls, towel toppers, other scarves.
Had a busy Holiday Season with family. Going here and there. Sigh. They are nothing like the ones I remember from when I was a child. Only had to go to my Grandparents house. But these holidays are just as special to me. I always enjoy time with the family!!
Celebrated my 17th Wedding Anni back in December. Wow!! My hubby is a wonderful man to put up with me for all these years and with more to come.
Also celebrated my Daughters "Sweet 16". I can remember sitting outside when pregnant, talking to her and telling her it was ok and it was time to come and meet her mommy and daddy. And now I have to tell her to slow down and stop growing up.
Have had some issues with my back and have had a Medial Branch Block thing done. Doc said it could take 4 to 6 weeks to see the full result. I pray this works for I am tired of being in constant pain.
I think that is just about it. Not much really exciting has happened here.
I will continue to crochet, and maybe learn to knit this year.
I hope to not be gone as long as I was...
